    - remember normal is fluid. What is every day to someone, is out of the ordinary to someone else. When we separate ourselves from the world at large, we blind ourselves to a reality that some people thrive in. When something bad happens out there, ask yourself what you learned from the event and then ask what they learned about us. We all share a biological base, start there. It's not about forgiving the enemy it's about knowing him. Dehumanizing the enemy is a from of self imposed blindness. You don't have to agree to understand. Stillness is death. -
I was going to draw focus to a certain issue I see a lot in CCW but there are a couple other great things hit on in this short paragraph. Hopfully it registers.

Failure is an opportunity to learn.

All humans are born with certain DNA fears, such as snakes, falls from high places. But most of our behavior is learned from our environment. How do /did out parents teach us. [ not just what they said but how they acted ]
If your parents beat you, not just a spanking, but they drew blood or broke bones, you;ll probably do the same. We learn attitudes, prejudices from our environment.

Babies are born selfish and have to learn to share.
The people think the Constitution protects their rights; But government sees it as an obstacle to be overcome.
If your religion says suicide and murder are wrong; Aren't you doing both if you are not prepared to defend your life and the lives of others?
I am not a lawyer, but I have personal opinions.

      Normal comes from repetition

That said, a different context or environment can change what is normal to abnormal
