  • Bright Sights (Ghost Glow)

    Good Morning Everyone,

I just thought I would post my experience with this product. I ordered this product about a week ago and got it in the mail last night.

To my disappointment, the vials that the product comes in were almost empty and the very little that was in the vials was dried up and unusable.

I felt a little cheated as this is not what they claim thier product to be on brightsights.com

I emailed customer service this morning and I'm waiting for a response. I asked that they either send me a new Ghost Glow set or refund my money.

    lets see what happens.

Anyone else have an experience with this company???

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling, which thinks that nothing is worth war, is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. ~John Stuart Mill ~ (1868)

I have never heard of them.

That absolutely stinks. I hope they take care of you!

I have an acquantance that used Ghost Glow. He said he had enough paint left over in case I wanted some. IIRC he wasn't super impressed with the glow, but liked how it enhanced target acquisition in daylight too.

I've heard some good things about Nitesiters; http://www.nitesiters.com/ on the LCP forum; http://www.elsiepeaforum.com/

      Here's a thread discussing several options; http://elsiepeaforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=185.0

Never heard of them. Good luck with your resolution.

We had a thread a while back about night sight paint. I think the references were for United Nuclear. I wonder how that project turned out?

I wasn't the guy who started the United Nuclear thread but I did buy some and try it out. The stuff does what it says, recharges fast and glows a long time, but I found it to be only about 20% effective when compared to trijicon vials. I have since replaced the sights with trijicons and won't look back.

To be honest, I have quite a bit left over and I'm trying to find a good use for it.

Night siighters take constant charging at night to work. They sure don't glow very long especially on a carried pistol.

The best money I ever spent was on MePro night sights. I haven't wanted to mess with a stock sight without changing to them.

                imho

I hang out at Taurusarmed.net as well. There's been a lot of unhappy people over there not getting orders.

                  Just an FYI.

+1. That is my experience too. Caveat Emptor.

Sorry to hear about OP's problems with Britesites. Hopefully they'll make good on it.
