I will have another bundle of the bumper stickers following the July 18th Board Meeting. If anyone needs some, let me know.

I did email him and got his reply. I very much agree with 99 percent of his platform.

I will be happy to forward his email onto anyone who provides me an email address and would like to read his positions.

As for splitting the vote and a Democrat getting elected that is what conservatives deserve if they don't vote for the true conservative.

AMEN!!!!! The RNC has a choice. Either be the party of conservatism or not and lose your base. They lost me and can't believe I'm the only one.

I thought I would chime in on this issue as it has evolved from the Vote yes on 1 thread to great discussion on the constitution BOR etc. and I must thank everyone for enlightening me on some of the matters of the Constitution I didn't think hard enough about or wasn't aware of before.

I will add this issue. It is the discussion on the so called "Global Economy" and how it came to be after WWI and especially WWII. The devistation of the world economies and the hardships of ward led to the support of Keynes's view of the economy and shaped the way we view international commerce. The gentleman I am going to direct you two is Friedrich von Hayek, a Nobel prize winning economist (1974) and a wise man. I encourage everyone to read his book, the 'Road to Serfdom' and his other works. The basic points of the 'Road to Serfdom' can be found in this youtube video, which is from a condensed form of his book that was published in Readers Digest that was popular with the American audience.

The condensed from can be found here:

I encourage everyone to especially watch his interviews before his death. It is a world economics eyeopener in about an hour. The links to some of the videos can be found here and linked off of this video.

Glad you enjoyed the discussion...LOL. I heard the road to serfdom is good. Its on my book agenda. If you want a good and interesting read "the coming insurrection" is interesting. I didn't take away from the book what I thought I would and I didn't disagree with everything in it neither. Kind of a surprising read.
