I can understand the can't afford to travel. If there is any other reason you are giving up your office I would love to hear it before saying I will go on the crusade.

tk
My error SCCC URL is concealedcampus.org/

Patricia also resihned, her new duties woith KSRA are taking all her time. That was stated before.
Basically, there are no serving members on the board, the bylaws require 5 members to have a quorum. So, it is dead.

I want to make sure there is no confusion here. The KSCCW.com forum is a separate entity from all others. It has nothing to do with KSAS/Carry Kansas or The Kansas State Rifle Association (KSRA). Additionally, KSAS/Carry Kansas has absolutely nothing to do with KSRA or SCCC (Students For Concealed Carry on Campus).

The KSRA is forming it's own Political Action Committee (PAC) and that also has nothing to do with KSAS/Carry Kansas or SCCC.

Thank you. It seems that there are a few who did not, had not made the connections.

I hope that all who had helped KSAS are or will shift their support to the KSRA and the new PAC.

No meetings any more, it is dead, defunct except that I will, as a personal thing, keep the website up to date.

Jim, do you have any thoughts you'd care to share on how best to remain an activist for the 2nd Amendment? Kevin (from JV) and I discussed the issue earlier this afternoon over a cup of coffee.

Why did everyone abandon ??? Did they feel it was stagnant, better options to carry the fight, accomplished it's goals and was not needed ?
I'm interested. Enquiring minds want to know.

To continue, join and support KSRA and the new PAC they are forming. see Patricia's previous posts. Links previously posted.

Patricia was elected KSRA President and just didn't have time. Phil Journey had to resign because of the ethics rules for judge candidates.
Bob Thomas had a heart attack. Everybody has other commitments, health issues and time constraints.

Also, the original purpose stated in the KSAS bylaws have all been met and exceeded.

That's really all I know, I got an email from board members, over a period of several days, I don't think they spoke to each other, don't think it was some plot. But it is sometimes time for all things to die away.
